Apex to CS2 sensitivity converter

Multiply your Apex sensitivity by 1 to turn the same way in CS2 at the same DPI. The converter below also handles different DPI and shows your cm/360.

Converted sensitivity (CS2)

1.6

cm per 360°

32.47

inches per 360°

12.78

eDPI (CS2)

1280

Your hand moves 32.5 cm for a full turn in both games.

In CS2 terms this is 1280 eDPI, lower than 98% of the 194 pros in our database (median 800).

This converts your normal (hipfire) sensitivity. Scoped and ADS sensitivity is set separately in each game.

How it works

  1. Each game turns the view by a fixed number of degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1. That number is the yaw.

  2. The distance your hand travels for a full turn is cm/360 = 360 ÷ (yaw × sensitivity × DPI) × 2.54.

  3. Converting means finding the sensitivity in the other game that gives the same cm/360, so the muscle memory for turning carries over.

Scoping in CS2? CS2 scope sensitivity

Questions

How do I convert Apex sensitivity to CS2?

At the same DPI, multiply your Apex sensitivity by 1. Apex has a yaw of 0.022 and CS2 has 0.022, and 1 is the first divided by the second. If you use a different DPI in the two games, use the converter above, which handles DPI as well.

Will CS2 feel the same as Apex after converting?

Your hand moves the same distance for a full 360° turn, so the muscle memory for turning carries over. How fast things move on screen also depends on each game's field of view and movement, which no converter can change. If it feels off, adjust in small steps of about 5%.

Does this convert scoped or ADS sensitivity?

No. We convert normal sensitivity, because each game scales scoped and ADS sensitivity in its own way. For CS2 we have a separate scoped sensitivity calculator with a verified formula.

How do you know the values are right?

We check each yaw against independent sources and the game's own defaults (table below), and we test the arithmetic against numbers published by other converters. When sources disagree, we leave the game out.
