Magnetic keyboards (Hall Effect, TMR), Rapid Trigger and 8000 Hz: reviews, comparisons and guides for CS2.

RTINGS named the Wooting 80HE its gaming keyboard of the year for 2026, and Reddit rates it positively in 174 of 218 cases. We look at why the rest still have a problem with it, and whether a $200 wired-only keyboard still makes sense in 2026.
Cherry has introduced the K63W Pro as the first wireless gaming keyboard with 8K polling over Ultra-Wideband. It is one of the most interesting keyboard launches of the year, but the real value will have to come from more than the spec sheet.
At its G PLAY 2026 event, Logitech unveiled the PRO X2 RAPID magnetic keyboard, the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE mouse with second-gen HITS, and a Yeti 2 microphone. We check whether the spec sheet really threatens Wooting's position in CS2.
Magnetic switches, Rapid Trigger and 8000 Hz: $150 at launch, $209 in the maker store. The JLab Daybreak TKL sounds great and types very well, but uneven backlighting, a plastic case and a beta app undercut a product sold as top shelf.
We tested the Asus ROG Azoth 96 HE for several weeks: ROG HFX V2 switches, 0.1-3.5mm adjustable actuation, and a solid build. Technically it's one of the best Hall Effect keyboards out there, but at €399 it's hard to call it the best choice when competitors offer the same core for half that.
If I had to buy one magnetic keyboard for CS2 today, I would still start with the Wooting 60HE v2. But Keychron Q1 HE 8K and Logitech G Pro X TKL Rapid both deserve serious context.
The hertz war has moved from monitors to mice and keyboards. The standard 1000 Hz is slowly phasing out, making room for 8000 Hz. We explain it without technical jargon: what is polling rate, does it actually improve your game, and why it might lag your CPU.
Magnetic keyboards are undergoing a quiet revolution. Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology is entering the market, promising exceptional precision, lower power consumption, and better acoustics. We explain how it works, its pros and cons, and which models are worth considering.
Wooting 60HE v2 takes the best of the original design and wraps it in a significantly more refined shell. I tested how the new chassis, Lekker Tikken switches, and 8 kHz polling rate perform in CS2 and daily typing.
Keychron Q1 HE 8K bridges two worlds: the speed of magnetic switches and the build quality of a heavy aluminum custom board. I tested how this 8000 Hz polling rate model with Ultra-Fast Lime switches performs in CS2 and daily typing.
